Tami

I have been a graphic designer for…well let’s say A LONG TIME. But, I have learned to be a Jack-of-all-trades. I have worked alongside my husband running a farm to running a Civil War Battlefield in southeast Kansas. My most recent adventure has been writing. I am currently having a Christian romance story published. Very exciting! Photography is my passion. This picture is what my husband usually sees when we go on trips. There is always a camera in my hand.

Bruce

My amazing do it yourself husband is an industrial painter by trade. He loves to collect antiques, tear things apart and rebuild them, and loves CHOCOLATE! OH, and ICE CREAM! Bruce can fix about anything and make it seem so easy. Being Mr. Fix-it comes in handy when something breaks down on the RV. He gives a lot to his friends and family and has a huge heart.

Hobbes

Our loving rescue cat Hobbes. We got Hobbes as a tiny ball of fur from a no kill shelter. He had the run of the farm and was a great mouser. Even though the wonderful people that bought our farm adopted our other cats we just could not leave Hobbes behind. So we started training him to be an indoor cat. He has learned to walk with a harness and a leash. His favorite place is the front window of the bus laying in the sun. He also likes to hide in a cubby hole where the old tube TV was in our bedroom area. He is a very spoiled tabby.

Our Story

In 2012 we bought a 1998 Beaver Patriot Bus. Bruce works out of town for his company and we thought this would be better for him than living out of hotels. In 2014 he retired, but after a couple of months, he decided to go back to work. It took him three years to convince me to sell our house and farm buildings and go on the road with him.

Chasing the Dream

November of 2017 we closed on our little farm and headed to Pensacola with one of our farm cats. Hobbes is a laid-back orange tabby cat that loves to snuggle and has adapted to RV life quite well.

We have met so many amazing people on our journey and seen incredible places. My hope with this blog is to show you what you can experience so that you may have an incredible experience also. We will show you the places to explore, shop, and the people that made the trip memorable. I also hope to include tips and tricks that make RV life a little easier. With the turn of a key, you can change the destination.

We hope you come back to our blog often.
