Fort Donelson is one of my favorite Civil War Battlefields to visit. I have not been there since I was around eight years old. But, I have so many wonderful memories of going there with my grandparents and parents. I am excited to tell you that the original visitors center is being renovated. It is in itself a historic building for the park. Dover, Tennessee has a lot of recreation areas. I could drive around all day site-seeing.
