Outside of Baltimore is this beautiful Georgian Style house. For seven generations the Ridgely family lived here. The house was completed in 1790 and at that time was the largest privately-owned home in the US.
The house and grounds are still to this day beautiful and something to see. Several trees on the property are over 200 years old. There are still barns, slave’s houses, and colorful gardens. There is a lot of history surrounding the house and the people who visited there as Ridgely’s guests.
