This was a great Museum. I learned so much about the first recordings and all the different types of Victrola’s. Eldridge Reeves Johnson founded the Victor Talking Machine Company in 1901. Many of the Victrola’s in the museum still play today, and the staff is more than happy to show you. My favorite part was learning about Nipper the dog that you know from the RCA logo. The museum is free. They do have a donation box. There is plenty of parking next to the museum. https://history.delaware.gov/jvm_main/

Bing Crosby can be heard singing on this original Victor Record and Player.
