The State House served as the first capital of Delaware and was built in 1791. It served at the State Capital until 1933 when they moved to the Legislative Hall. It was built in the Georgian-style and served as both the state and Kent County governments. The 18th-century courtroom is beautiful and the winding dual staircase ads a sense of grandeur to the first-floor room.

It is free to visit The Old State House and you will be given a tour by a reenactor. Take your time and look at all the beautiful woodwork inside the building.
